Performance OSM is a leading sports orthopaedic provider in Frisco, TX. We provide specialized orthopaedic services & innovative sports medicine care.

Responsibilities:
- Coordinate referrals for patients from outside healthcare providers
- Obtain necessary medical records and documentation for referral processing
- Verify insurance coverage and obtain authorizations for referrals
- Communicate with patients, providers, and insurance companies regarding referrals
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date referral records in the electronic medical records system
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality

- Patient check in/ check out as needed

- Answer and triage incoming calls

-Schedule patient appointments

Experience:
- Previous experience working in a medical office
- Familiarity with insurance verification and managed care processes
- Knowledge of medical terminology, ICD-10 coding, and HIPAA regulations
- Proficient in using electronic medical records systems

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
